Thalaiva is a film which has Vijay in the lead role. This film which is being directed by A L Vijay has Amala Paul in the female lead role. The shooting of this film is taking place in Mumbai for the last two months. Ponvannan is also donning an important role in this film.

As per the story, Amala Paul is Vijay’s Tamil Nadu lover. Vijay goes to Mumbai in connection with a work is a loved by a Hindi girl and because of this, the crew was in search of a Hindi girl who would suit the role.

Richa and Lakshmi Rai were also considered for this role. Finally Hindi TV actress Ragini Nandwani was selected for this role. She is acting in Hindi TV serials and also in Hindi films. She has also acted in a Hindi film titled Dehraadun Diary.

When Vijay was staying in Delhi, he happened to see Ragini Nandwani in a TV programme. He felt that she would suit the role and hence he recommended her to the producer. The director has also agreed and Ragini is currently acting in this film with Vijay.

People who were journeying on the road were startled seeing Ajith racing in the Ducati bike. Even the Dubai officials have quipped whether this risk was necessary for a film shooting. Ajith finished the chasing sequence and came back. Director Vishnuvardhan had appreciated Ajith by saying, ” You are a man.”

Ajith who scared us by fighting in the helicopter sequences is sure to freeze us in this bike sequence.

K.V.Anand going to direct superstar Rajinikanth’s next project

Rumours on KV Anand directing Rajinikanth have not remained just mere speculations as the duo is ready to work together for the first time. The news has been confirmed by Eros International, which is producing the superstar’s movie once again. Kamal Jain, group chief financial officer-India, Eros International Media, has said that they have signed a deal with Rajinikanth for the third movie after forthcoming Kochadaiyaan and delayed Rana. The next movie will be helmed by KV Anand. And other cast and crew along with the title has to be finalised. “We have taken a lead in Hindi industry and we want to create the same footprint in Tamil. We want to capture the Tamil market by making at least three-four films a year,” the Economic Times quoted Jain as saying. The film is expected to be made in the Rs 100-crore league like Rajinikanth’s forthcoming movies. KV Anand had earlier worked with Rajinikanth as a cinematographer in Shankar’s directorial Sivaji. However, the actor and director are yet to open up on the project.

Ajith’s brother-in-law Richard in ‘Adutha Paruppu’

“Tamizh padam” fame director CS Amudhan is back with his second movie “Rendavathu Padam”.

Cast includes Vimal, Aravind Aakash of ‘Goa’ and ‘Mankatha’ fame and Ajith’s brother-in-law Richard. Vijayalakshmi plays as the heroine. The movie is produced by Dharani under Screen Care Entertainment banner.

Kannan scores music, Cinematography by Vijay Ulaganathan and Dileep Subbarayan does the stunts.

Director said “Rendavathu Padam is no spoof. But it will be a laugh riot. A neat comedy entertainer, I am sure that it would be welcomed by one and all.”

What’s the budget of Shankar’s I?

Shankar makes his films with huge budgets and most of his movies have been considered as the highest budget flicks of its time. Be it his Mudhalvan or Endhiran, the money-spent on the productions had made other film industries to turn around and look at Tamil film industry in surprise. His latest film I is also falling into the same category as it is set to become a biggest-ever film made in India.

If reports are to be believed, I is more expensive than Shankar’s earlier film Endhiran, a sci-fi flick starring Rajinikanth and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. In an interview to a Delhi-based daily, Vikram has said that the movie is made with the budget of Rs 145 cr, which is the highest ever budget movie in Indian film industry.

However, doubts are being raised by a section of traders on the budget, as I is neither a sci-fi nor a graphical extravaganza. Adding to that the lead stars of I are less popular than of Endhiran, which featured Rajini and Aish. The expensive part of the movie is the rich visuals captured on camera in some of the popular destinations in the world. An industry insider claims that the producer would find it very difficult to recover the investment if the said budget is true.

Nonetheless, some of the well-known technicians from Hollywood are working in the project.

Aadhi Bhagavan Tamil Movie Review.

Ameer Sultan’s Aadhi Bhagavan has been in the making since two years. The film was delayed for one or the other reason and almost had disappeared from the memories of audience. But the right kind of promotions from the past several weeks drew the lost attention once again. Adding to that the trailers and posters of the film helped to generate good vibes around the movie. AadhiBhagavan, which is now Ameer’s Aadhi Bhagavan after several Hindu groups raised objection over the original title, stars Jayam Ravi and Neetu Chandra in the lead roles. It is an action movie, which is the second film in Asia which has used of Auro 3D audio technology after Kamal Hassan starrer Vishwaroopam. Read on to review to know what the film has to offer… Jayam Ravi has played the role of an out and out baddie Aadhi Shanmugam. He rules the underworld in Bangkok.

Accidentally, he meets Karishma (Neetu Chandra) and falls for her in no time. At this juncture, he gets into trouble with ruthless Reddy brothers of Andhra Pradesh. They want to kill him at any cost. During this juncture, he falls out with his boss played by Babu Anthony. The bad time continues with his mother played by Sudha Chandran sending him out of their home for all his crime activities.

However, Aadhi decides to meet his lover Karishma’s dad and visits to Mumbai where the story takes a twist. What happens next should be seen on-screen. The strength of the story is undoubtedly the curiosity of twists and turns in story in Aadhi Bhagavan. The director has narrated a brilliant story without much errors. Though there are mistakes at many places, it did not affect the film to a large extent, as the film has an engaging subject in the Tamil flick.

Vishwaroopam Part 2 is almost over

Part 2 of Kamal’s epic Vishwaroopam is almost ready and sources say that within 2 weeks all the post and pre productions works are over. The prequel to the movie was released in Februrary 7 in Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry. But worldwide the movie was released world wide on January 25. The movie even though released late broke all records and scored a huge box office hit.

Meanwhile in a recent speech Kamal revelaed that the final works for the movie is almost over and the movie will be released sooner in this year. Vishwaroopam 2′s work was started when Kamal was making Vishwaroopam. The same cast and crew in Vishwaroopam are in the sequel. After that Kamal is working with Hollywood director Barrry Allen for a Hollywood movie.
